Anyone know if the invisible bonus fm lvl will allow me to light beacons? (ex: I'm lvl76, will I be able to light the lvl79 one?)

- Invisible boosts do not allow you to do new things, only do current things better. So no.

- The crystal saw is an invisible boost, and it does let you do new things. I've never had trouble lighting anything, so the boost sounds pretty worthless if it doesn't let you light better things.--Exd3ath 21:58, October 2, 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, the crystal saw is NOT an invisible boost. As the Knowledge Base puts it, it allows you to "construct furnishings in your house even if you don't have the level you would normally require" and "will effectively supply you with 3 extra levels." I asked on the forums about this and got no response. I think it was either an oversight by Jagex, or introduced for some future firemaking update they have in the works. Incidentally the Lava titan has the same issue (but 3 times worse :P)Stewbasic 14:20, November 18, 2009 (UTC)
