Since this was just released, shouldn't we add a list of locations, remove the "future update" label, write about how it can be used anywhere, add a picture of a player resting, etc? --69.66.129.208 15:04, 9 June 2009 (UTC)im1ofthem

No, it just changed for girls since the update. Due to complaints on the forum about upskirts etc.. Adult chameleon (automatic) Anurin Talk · Sign! . 02:38, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Stealing Creation musician[]

I am not sure if the stealing creation musician is only accessible to members. Please correct it by moving it to the f2p section if needed.

"Not against the rules"[]

I noticed, when reading about how monsters would not retaliate and that players used this opportunity to gain items without coming to harm, the article says "Still, players who took advantage of this bug to gain valuable items get to keep them and cannot be punished by Jagex as they did not have to do anything against the rules to profit from it."
However, I do believe that this goes against the rule about knowingly exploiting bugs in the system. To quote the RuneScape site: "You must not use or attempt to use any cheats or errors which you find in our software. Any exploits which you find must be immediately reported to Jagex through Customer Support." I'm confused as to whether the poeple who profitted from this were breaking the rule or not.

I didn't understand that either. I'm pretty sure that is against the rules.

Righty-ho. Well, we now have "Monsters that are normally aggressive to players in one way or another were unable to retaliate against the player. This caused many people to congregate at the God Wars Dungeon, and the Corporeal Beast lair, in an hopeful attempt to get a valuable drop without being hit for damage. This, to many players' disappointment, was fixed in less than half an hour after the update was released. Still, players who took advantage of this bug to gain valuable items get to keep them and cannot be punished by Jagex as they did not have to do anything against the rules to profit from it, aside from bug exploitation, which is against the rules." which makes even less sense.. --Teri (: 08:25, September 25, 2010 (UTC)

Skill Cape Emote[]

I saw a guy perform the fletching emote as he started to sit. The emote continued with the bow being raised while the player still sat. Does anyone know if this glitch has been mentioned anywhere. Strength-icon Hammer2092 Time |KOTA Bandos godsword 17:08, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

The truth about resting[]

Theory~

If you look closer at normal resting here is the truth.

The energy gained at level 1 agility, while normal resting, is, 1,2,2,2,1,2,2,2,1(etc.)

In other words, you gain 1 energy when you normally would have and gained 2, 2, 2,(or 6 energy) in between.

So, you actually gain about 7 times more energy. 0.44 * 7 = 3.08, which is above 2.8 energy per second.

Further, at least from my personal experience, at level 94 agility i rest up at about 4,4,4,3,4,4,4,3,4,4,4 etc. I think it's likely that it maxes out at a constant 4 at 99 agility. It would be nice to compile a full formula sometime. ---Tortilliachp 15:41, January 1, 2010 (UTC)

Formula~

Okay, here's my second theory.

Level 1 = 7 energy

Level 12.5 = 8 energy

Level 24 = 9 energy

Level 35.5 = 10 energy

Level 47 = 11 energy

Level 58.5 = 12 energy

Level 70 = 13 energy

Level 81.5 = 14 energy

Level 93 = 15 energy

Level 99 = 16 energy

About every 11.5 levels you get 1 extra energy when resting.

Every decimal is rounded up by 1(to make an integer).

Testers anyone? =X

conforms with level 94 and level 1 ---Tortilliachp 16:24, January 1, 2010 (UTC), other testers needed

Error in trivia section?[]

"You can't rest as a penguin or any kind of non-human form, except when wielding gorilla greegree."

I tried resting as a gorilla, it didn't work. Am I missing something?
