This quest has been updated, and there are now slight differences in the new version. If anyone has a secondary account on which to do this quest to check the differences, that would be great. Hyenastetalk 04:18, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
I would take notes, but RuneScape has decided it doesn't want to work for me right now - if it would start working again (in the next week or so) I'll be able to do it, as while I started the quest, I didn't get further than speaking to Romeo (it was an accident), as I was involved in making a Redberry pie for the Knight's Sword Quest. I'm going to talk to Technical support about it, but if I could have any ideas about what to look for before going on it? Yleron - (Talk)(Contribs) 00:17, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Alright, I've started the quest again (I got RuneScape to work again - finally!). Since I'm doing the quest now, I'll write comments on the quest as I go along, to make sure I'm not mis-interpreting it - it'll let me mull over it later, and still have "fresh" information.
He wanders around a lot - he can now be found in Varrock's General Store - as seen [Here], but can also be found in and around Varrock's square - when I went to look for him, he was first in the shop, then in the square. "In and around Varrock Square" is probably a better description, as I began to panic until I realised that I'd passed him earlier (when going to buy some chaps from the shop).
Speaking to Juliet
Finding the house was difficult, the locations in the guide aren't exact (I took it to mean inside Varrock's wall). [Here]'s a picture that can be seen from where Juliet is (it may help re-write the quest guide).
- She gives a letter - message implies verbal communication. Perhaps that should be changed?
- Instead of strolling around Varrock square, he's now to be found in the North-West corner of Varrock General Store.
This part was fine, but I took a [screenshot] (including the map) for easy reference.
Now however, you pick from a Cadava bush, not pick them off the ground. [Screenshot]
Finding the Apothecary wasn't as easy as I expected (I got it mixed up with the Magic shop). Perhaps including the Apothecary symbol and location on the map? (Perhaps the same for the Varrock mines? I had no problem, but I expect that many newer users will).
Romeo & Juliet Release Date
How does the Romeo & Juliet release date precede the release date of Runescape Classic? I'm changing the release date of Romeo & Juliet back to Unknown, unless you have a source for the release date of Romeo & Juliet. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.127.116.11 (talk).
- This is the source: http://web.archive.org/web/20001202004800/http://www.jagex.com/runescape.html 12:23, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
Note on the release date: Romeo and Juliet was in fact the fourth quest written, the first one complete was cooks assistant. The date showing 1st Dec for release of this quest was only listed in the updates page because it was written by Rab, not by Andrew or his brothers (it was added in there to drum up support for other people to write quests). That update page is the alpha testing page, showing when the quest was added to alpha, before the public opening. /Rab
Is this the only Quest that does not give an experience Reward? If so it would deserve a mentioning in the Trivia section. Stormpride 21:21, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure this not is the only quest with no experience reward(s) FredeTalk 21:24, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
In the trivia Section it says that in the play, romeo falls in love with juliet's cousin first. Rosaline was not Juliet's cousin in the play....23:30, July 11, 2010 (UTC)
End of Quest
This quest will be removed sometime in September and replaced with "Gunnar's Ground" citeing the latest Behind the Scences. Maybe put in the trivia section - B_Moriarty

has Jagex confirmed it's being fuly removed and not just made so it's not a quest like witches potion?

Added the "Gone" thingy to the top of the page, and added a note. Is there anything else that needs doing?

What is the long-term plan for this page? Retire into oblivion or revise it as some sort of historical trivia item?
18.104.22.168 16:56, September 21, 2010 (UTC)
I strongly support in making this page historical like the hitpoints that was remade as constitution.please consider this, the poll clearly says that jagex shouldnt remove the quest because its part of history.they had their reasons, right or wrong to remove it eventually. i think most ppl would agree with me.
Thank you, the new banner is much more appropriate than the one I put up. If there is a consensus needed I support turning it into a historical page. 10hailfire10 20:36, September 21, 2010 (UTC)
For those of us that track our QP outside RuneScape (worksheet), what happened to the 5QP I earned for this quest before it was removed? Is that still part of my total QP, or if I finished Gunnar's Ground later, I do NOT get another 5QP for that one, as I already got the original 5 here? Very confusing... Steelhorse66 (talk) 18:13, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
In the same manner, if I had gotten QP for Witch's Potion and Sheep Shearer, did I keep that 2QP there and then did NOT get QP for doing the replacement? I know there was something about not doubling up QP for some of us old-timers.Steelhorse66 (talk) 18:13, February 1, 2013 (UTC)
