Do you need the corrosponding Runecrafting lvl to have the poches drop? I have 40 Rcrafting, got the med. pouch fairly fast, but I haven't gotten a large pouch drop yet, can anyone confirm this? Momento Mori _{Real Pain}^{Not Champagne}

Opah, Oi g, and whatever else slangs I use... After 3, yes 3, hours, I got a Large Pouch drop... While I'm at it, should we have redirects from Small, Med., Large, and Giant pouches to this page? Momento Mori _{Real Pain}^{Not Champagne}

"Pouch hunting"

I really think there is sth wrong with the pouch hunting equipment suggested here... I mean, if you are willing to bring a 400k (that sounds also a bit underpriced) cannon and 300 cannon balls, it doesn't cost much to add at least some cheap d'hide armor (currently I use green because I'll end my P2P soon). I've found pouch hunting in the fairy ring abyss to be quick and easy. If I lose my pouches it takes about 5 minutes to get a new set.

Pouches disappear on death

Like the ava's attractor and other quest items these pouches will all disappear on player death.

Large pouch

It doesn't mention this on any sites I've seen, but I just got 50 runecrafting and large pouches can't even store pure essence! Do you need a few more levels, or do they just suck?

Just added the KB articles; you should be able to carry 9. Make sure you are not trying to carry both. "Pouches are able to carry either pure essence or rune essence, but not both at once." Chrislee33 23:01, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

It definitely doesn't have any regular essence in it already, if i click empty it says it already is, but if i click fill it says it can only store normal essences.

Drop Rate

I have been killing leeches by the hundred, and have yet to see a medium pouch... any one have an idea why> i have been killing them in the abyss, and have done it for more than thirty minutes, with no dropsCorhen 20:56, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Pouch decay

I think it'd be interesting to get a better quantitative idea of the decay rate. So here I go (add yours!):
