Different for every log. The knife can make 513 Magic Logs before it gets destroyed. Fonger Max
I've found that it takes 926 Actions of making Willow Longbow's (u) to destroy a tool, giving 76,858 if anyone can confirm this or help me find the others I would appreciate it. Billy Bomb7Stories!

- Maybe we could so some tests, each of the logs and forms of fletching result, see if they all stop around 76,858xp per knife. If it is consistent per each knife and log result then we could make a table showing players how many knives to get for x amount of logs. I cna also confirm that it does take 926 actions of making Willow Longbows Unstrung to destroy a 100% Knife.

- It seems you are all neglecting level. Your skill level seems to play a factor in this. Around level 80 I could cut about 420 yews. At 87, I can cut 645. Dsctatom 07:57, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

willows[]
at 94 fletching on a full knife i can fletch 1130 willows granting 93790xp i am currently going to use 2 more knives on willows to confirm
Yew Longbow(u)[]
Just cut 625 of these before knife ran out. At 150 exp each, that comes out to 93,750 for one knife. This is at 95 fletching. --Ryu The Merc 06:42, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
Ranges for number of logs (and experience)[]
So if what I've read is correct, the number of bows (u) that can be made using the knife is dependent on level and log? I'm curious to know whether this is the case or not truly, because I don't know if this has ever actually been confirmed by anyone; but, that could just be my ignorance, and it is an interesting thought. Maybe there needs to be a "range" in the number of logs that you can expect a knife to last through?
Calculator?[]
is the formula for this log-level thing known? A calculator (where you would fill in your level and the type of bow you would like to create) would be awesome :D 212.45.53.122 15:25, December 15, 2010 (UTC)
Regarding the maple shortbow (u), I've cut only 513 of them and the knife is gone. I don't think level can make that much of a difference, it was originally 900+..
Just used the fletching knife and could only do 510 maple longbow (u)..
