This talk page is for discussing the Shadow-Forger Ihlakhizan page.

"He tends to have relatively low defence, so using the best attack, strength, prayer and melee potions won't hurt your chances, especially if you are having trouble to bring him down fast enough."
Not only does that paragraph not make sense, but it's rather redundant. I'm removing the redudancy but I'd like to see the whole thing go. Guenwhyever 13:10, April 24, 2010 (UTC)

Need a little paragraph tweakin'

Under "Strategy," the paragraph that begins "A good tactic to kill Ihlakhizan is to combine the Vengeance spell and a gatestone teleport..." needs a lot of editing.

Due to an update, players can no longer use the Gatestone Teleport spell to escape from a boss room. Because this is integrated into the entire paragraph, I don't want to delete the entire thing or even try to edit it out, because as things go, I'll write something wrong or butcher a line, et cetera...

If someone could reword the strategy so it's still a strategy and not a chopped up mass of words, that'd be great. Eevables 18:31, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

Pardon, pardon, it should say something like "Group Gatestone Teleport", 'cause I think you can still do that... Eevables 18:33, August 28, 2010 (UTC)

This sentence...?

"It is best to use cosmic runes, as the Magic skill does not reach 130, and cosmics can be used as a backup for 2 times."

Can someone maybe explain to me what this sentence is trying to convey? The only part I really understood was the first portion before the comma, and even that could have just mentioned a Gatestone rather than "use cosmic runes". Nothing special here. (talk)

I usually just hit this boss repeatedly until it dies without any specific tactics so I can only guess but tt probably refers to the level requirement of the Gatestone Teleport and Group Gatestone Teleport spells, which are 32 and 64 respectively. I am guessing your magic level may be reduced during the boss fight but may only be reduced by up to 66, or up to half your level, which would explain the hypothetical need for level 130 magic to rely on Group Gatestone Teleport. The last part probably refers to using both the Group Gatestone and a normal Gatestone. Promissory noteTHARKON 18:32, September 16, 2013 (UTC)
