Secret Rewards?

So the corkscrew and sugar cube both have a destroy option which states that you can reclaim them from Teddy, which is interesting considering he didn't give you either of them. Therefore, they seem to have a purpose which Jagex may clue us in about at a later date.

In fact, when you examine the sugar cube, it states "It seems to be humming." which makes me guess it will act similar to the Enchanted Key. Does anyone have any info/thoughts about this?

It's been confirmed that the secret reward is a new invisible penguin that requires the ring of visibility, teleports, phases through water, and goes over mountains, and gives 3 penguin points bringing the total amount of penguin points per week to 3. The sugar cube will change it's message if you're near the invisible penguin, but you need the ring of visibility from Desert Treasure to actually see it and spy on it. Even with the ring it's still difficult to see, much like the very weak spirit realm portals.

I had expected more than one hidden reward, considering that we already knew there would be another penguin.

Also, I seem to have had the sugar cube taken from my inventory. Search as I might, there is no way to get it back. Teddy in the circus will only talk about the thieving event, Jim on the iceberg only transforms you, Chuck doesn't say much at all and I can not find the seals to get back to the POW camp. I have searched for the submarine and am unable to find it either.

Pop Costume + Rock Costume

Anyone know the materials needed to make it?

Never mind, the workbench at the Penguin Lair tells you what you need if you don't have them.

GLITCH

There is currently a glitch that appears during the part where you have to make noise they bars are stuck at 50% when you go full circle then at 100% they reset when he appears but never leaves

There is also a Typo when he says ahh Piece and quite where it should say "Peace And Quite"

Corkscrew

Although i may have missed something here, but, after finishing the quest, i didn't really notice a use for the corkscrew. Its probably something to do with the game board that i didn't see in the chat box, or could it just be a red herring put in to make people question it's use?

It doesn't have a use, just as the sugar cubes and boots and seaweed don't. I thought it would have been used in place of the bowling pin but oh well.

Battlefish: one solution or many?

As of revision 6056424, the caption for the image in the section "The Walrus Prison Camp" asserts that there's only one solution for every player. In the section "Escaping", there's yet more information about Battlefish games.

Is there one, or are there two, Battlefish game(s) played during the quest?
If there's one, should the image's caption state that it's only one of many possible solutions?
If there are two, is the first one always the same board?

There are two games played:

Once where you and your opponent have equal forces (two 3-square and two 4-square boats) and the enemy uses AI to attack.
Another where you have a single 4x2 "Mothership" and your opponent has one 4-square and two 3-square ships, if I recall correctly. The enemy picks squares randomly, but you have the added problem of trying to keep your ship patched up while firing.

On the final battleship game in the submarine the solution stays the same each time. Remember your hits & then if you die you can get a head start on the game. (I died several times as the game doesn't work too well in fixed screen. Couldn't see health bars etc. so didn't know what was going on.) BTW this game has one 3 and two 4 battlefish. both the corkscrew and sugar cubes vanished from my inventory when the game lobbyed me. is there a way to get them back? and are they really needed to find the invisable penguin? by the way, no where mentioned in the quest rewards was and invisable penguin. how was it found out about? Sheldon was one of the poll options for the "What should Jagex name the turtle they are adopting for World Turtle Day?" on FB, althought it was spelt with 2 L's instead of one. the other options were Tarromin, Timbo, Tiberius and Terry. 28th June?

When was the early bird bonus changed to the 28th june?

I thought all the early bird bonuses like the lamp for the elder kiln and the morytania hard tasks were two weeks from the date the content was released? Wouldn't that be 21st June for this quest since it was released on the 7th?
