endings
I chose to spare each cultist. The last one insisted that there must be a death for the pact, and killed himself. possibly there are multiple ways for this quest to end, depending on if you choose to kill or not?

He kills himself regardless I killed the other 2 and spared him and he still died.

Mask
So along with this update there is parts of a new mask you can uptain, what is the mask? What is the drop rate? Is it worth anything?

It's for low levels, and untradeable. Drop rate isn't very high, I'd estimate 1 in 15 to 1 in 50. By "for low levels" I mean terrible stats btw. Lord784 18:23, March 15, 2010 (UTC)

it should be noted that if u are a pure, you can still get the weapons for style and not get the 100xp defense reward
just kill the cultists and teleport out with their weapons, which do look pretty cool for f2p skillers

I was told that I was "A legend, even among the legend's guild". Did anyone else get this? I had 296 quest points when talking to her, can we try and nail it down to some exact requirements? Dawn's Light 16:41, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
I got the same message, probably because we both did Legend's Quest. I heard respective messages also appear if you completed Hero's Quest and Dragon Slayer.Krayfish 17:10, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
Length of quest
Currently the article says it takes 1 to 3 minutes. If you read the dialogue and do not know what you are supposed to do I would say this is not possible. Definitely not possible if you are a level 3. I would say less than 15 minutes. What do other people think? Uffa 64 21:11, March 16, 2010 (UTC)
Wrong Date?
In 2 places it says rune mysteries was released in 2003. While rune mysteries was included in the rs2 beta in 2003, it was not officially released until rs2 actually came out, in 2004.
The actual article about Rune Mysteries states the release date as 1 December 2003 so I think we should still leave it that way. Krayfish 17:14, March 21, 2010 (UTC)
