Latin[]

Regarding the Latin phrase, I assumed that condita means "founded" as in he phrase "ab urbe condita" which refers to founding the of Rome - and thus the phrase would mean something like "Founded in the stars" which would make sense considering Zaros and most of other high ranking Zarosians came from different worlds. That could allude to the Empire originating in the stars, an alliance of forces from various other planets. But I don't know the Latin that well, so I decided just to explain why I've written translation like that in the first place instead of changing it back. Maybe it will be explained/make more sense after the quest.--Mariobaryla (talk) 11:24, November 9, 2016 (UTC)

It's been a long time since I learned Latin, and I have forgotten much, but "absconditus" means "hidden". The form abscondita is female nominative singular, so I had translated this for myself as "She is hidden in the stars" when I did the quest. I assumed "she" would refer to Seren, who at the time the mural was created could have been on another world, probably still at Tarddiad. Zwirn (talk) 22:46, November 23, 2016 (UTC)
Or wait, wasn't Seren already shattered when Zaros built his empire? In that case, I don't know who "abscondita" might refer to. Maybe the generic translation "It is hidden in the stars" is best, after all. Zwirn (talk) 22:51, November 23, 2016 (UTC)
In my comment I was referring to the previous version of the phrase with condita instead of abscondita, hence the version with founded rather than hidden. In the quest we see that it is actually abscondita, so your version is obviously right. In the digsite version of throne room the phrase was much harder to read (or even notice) and the "abs" part at the beginning is completely invisible, so that's why it was wrong initially. As for actual meaning, I don't see any reason why would it relate to Seren or even Mah, considering Zaors abandoned them and he wasn't really a fan of his creator. I think it has some more general meaning, some sort of motto rather than direct reference to anything.--Mariobaryla (talk) 22:01, November 24, 2016 (UTC)
There's nothing in the phrase that necessarily points to a female agent. Although the adjective abscondita is referring to a feminine-gender noun, that doesn't mean the phrase is referring to an actual female agent. For example, the Latin word for island is insula, -ae, but you wouldn't consider an island a he or a she. All we can say for certain is that something is hidden in the stars. It could be an item that takes on a feminine gender in Latin, but is not an object that would have an actual gender as we think of it. For example, if it's referring to the Stone of Jas, the Latin word "Petra, -ae" means stone, and is a feminine noun. However, we could speculate that the agent is a female, possibly Jas (from the page's trivia section), but as with the point about Zaros' relation to Mah, I'm not sure a hidden allusion to an elder god would really be in Zaros' decorating style. --John Kandar (talk) 02:14, December 10, 2017 (UTC)--John Kandar (talk) 02:13, December 10, 2017 (UTC)

Merge with Zaros' Divine Palace?[]

I noticed there's a page on the wiki for Zaros' Divine Palace. Shouldn't that and this page be merged? It seems a bit redundant to have seperate pages for the palace and throne room

BONUS XP ?[]

does the 800k xp include bonus xp? (eg if u had 800k bonus xp would u be able to get 1600 xp from empty throne room? or only 800(400 regular, 400 bonus)?)

if so are u best to use bonus xp before coming here?

- Sorry for a rather late reply, but from my experience on the cycles, the bonus xp does work, and it does not count towards your 800k xp cap in the throne room. So you would be able to get up to 1,600k xp from the Throne Room if you had enough bxp. --John Kandar (talk) 01:38, December 10, 2017 (UTC)
