Temple of the Lost Ancients = Contemporary God Wars Dungeon?
As we know that he is returning to the place commonly called God Wars Dungeon, can we assume that the Temple of the Lost Ancients is in fact the God Wars Dungeon? Will post on the RSOF for confirmation, and update wiki as appropriate Seablaze1234 (talk) 18:04, June 2, 2014 (UTC)
- It has been known for a rather long time that the Temple of Lost Ancients is the GWD. 126.96.36.199 00:22, June 3, 2014 (UTC)

Quest lets us kill Yelps
Asked Mod Timbo on twitter yesterday if we would be able to kill Yelps (As voted on in a Power to the Players Poll). Today I got the answer for that question. It seems we can kill Yelps. Source: https://twitter.com/JagexTimbo/statuses/471912932637286401" 19:44, May 29, 2014 (UTC)
Points about the quest
I'm going to list everything I think worth mentioning about this quest:
-> there seem to be no repercussions for accidentally killing goblins when you are trying to find the human spies
-> the second boss fight against Lol does not allow you to equip anything in any slot but main hand, offhand or 2h weapons. No shields. No auras, no pocket slot items. It's a good idea not to use an aura against Yelps in the first fight otherwise you have to deactivate it. You might want to use it against Graardor
-> adding the bandos hilt to the kyzaj turns it from a lvl 70 weapon to a lvl 75 weapon
-> the bandos memories book seems to have more unlockable lore content... no hints found on how to unlock it.
->Graardor has three main special attacks: 1. a blast against the centre of the platform- the closer you are to the centre of the platform the more damage it does. Typeless damage that is. There is a chat box warning for this. 2. Graardor will smash the edges of the platform. This does HEAVY damage if you are standing on them at the time. Hence, its advised to stay off them. 3. Graardor heavily swings the Kyzaj at you. There is no chat box warning and it does HEAVY damage. You need ot react very quickly to get away from this attack either by stepping back or to the left. Beware of using combo abilities. There may be a fourth special attack he uses when you stand within him, but im not sure.
-> switching your trollheim teleport to god wars entrance teleports you just past the boulder. Definitely makes getting to gwd faster, but not sure how this affects farming runs.
A few more notes
After the quest if you go back to Yu'biusk there will some some green chronicles floating around, each one gives 10xp & adds more chapters to the Bandos book (Nothing else for collecting all of them it seems)
Updated Bork drops are as follows (Wearing ROW & Varrock Tasks 4 complete:
20 Blue Charms
1 Uncut Dragonstone
2 Uncut Diamonds
5 Uncut Rubies
4 uncut Emeralds
1 Uncut Sapphire
Human Infiltrators: How to Identify Them!
I found that during the quest, the Human infiltrators could be identified by the phrases they used when talking to you, or otherwise when they gave themselves away.
For Reference, my infiltrators were:
The Goblin Camp Cleaner (Gollum/Smeagol reference) - I picked him because he was cleaning up. A very unusual activity for a Goblin, as the adventurer even states.
The Troll Name Taker - By the Troll camp, the Goblin insists that his name is Trowel, and that is because he ate a Trowel as his first object. Note: He is a Goblin, not a Troll - So this gives him away, as the Adventurer states.
The Goblin in the Ork's Camp - Constantly refers to himself as an Orc, even though he is a Goblin, but a Key line of his dialogue comes when he states that he is Pretending to be a Goblin, giving himself away.
The Goblin by the Kyzaj -
The Goblin between Zarador and the Adventurer's Camp -
^I'm not sure which of these was which, but I'm sure that one of them told me to stop 'Prattling on' - a highly unlikely choice of words for a Goblin. Can anyone confirm the last one?
Note that the above Infiltrator locations were found with a help of a friend - This shows that both of ours, at least, were in sync.
As Promised, the last Editors Locations, as were listed on the full article:
"The correct goblins are:
- On the road of middle floor (suspicious purpose and response)
- Cleaning goblin near high priest (suspicious purpose)
- Near high priest (contradicts among conversation options)
- Near Trolls (perfect grammar)
- Near Ogre (perfect grammar)"
the boulders do heavy damage (1k+) when you attack them. who ever put in the guide that its light damage is a moron. User:Heavyoak/Signature 18:14, June 2, 2014 (UTC)
Can someone compile a list of references to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson? I've noticed two far early on in the quest
- Someone (an orc iirc) asks a goblin was he thinks, then yells "It doesn't matter what you think!"
- One dialogue option for your character is "Just bring it," another catchphrase of The Rock
Why does it say at Enemies to defeat that Graardor is level 157? He is level 210. Or at least is for me. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 188.8.131.52 (talk) on 13:16, June 3, 2014 (UTC).
This is more a curiosity than anything, but do you think we could get a bracket for the Tournament here? As far as I can tell, it went like:
World Guardian vs. Yelps - Graardor vs. Hobnob - Lol vs. Mono - Bork vs. Farkle.
World Guardian vs. Lol - Graardor vs. Bork
World Guardian vs. Graardor
- There's a bracket right next to the engineer. -- 02:32, June 4, 2014 (UTC)

Transcript section missing?
I don't know much about how this wiki works in regarding to quest spoilers, but lately most quests had a transcript section added to them. Is there gonna be one for this quest? (184.108.40.206 02:50, June 5, 2014 (UTC))
Team Fortress 2 reference
There is a reference to Team Fortress 2, more specifically the "Meet the Spy" video for that game. The reference is that when you kill one of the innocent goblins when hunting for the infiltrators your character will say something along the lines of them turning human any second now. It's a direct reference to the Meet the Spy video as the Engineer says "He'll turn red any second" after killing the Blue spy (thinking that he was the red spy all along).14:17, June 5, 2014 (UTC)
- Actually its soldier who says that, after blasting the blue spy with a shotgun.Mattila22 (talk) 21:23, June 7, 2014 (UTC)
Legacy LP update
After the legacy update, lifepoints have been tied at a x100 proportion to current level, unlike the EOC's x4. This affects quite a bit of the fighting style mentioned in the "Graador" section. Re-write pl0x, because I'm too noob to do it myself. 220.127.116.11 19:36, August 2, 2014 (UTC)TehH0und, 08.03.2014
#7 in quest series?
Why is The Mighty Fall #7 in the Dorgeshunn quest series, when The Chosen Commander is #5? There seems to be no quest in between these two in regards to the Dorgeshunn. If however we do count Goblin Diplomacy there are 7 quests in direct line with each other, though it isn't a Dorgeshunn quest, just a goblin one. Jonius7 talk 03:33, November 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Hmm, it'd be #7 if it were the goblin quest series, rather than the Dorgeshuun quest series. It still counts as a related quest but Chosen Commander is the finale of the series in the same way Plague's End is the finale of the Elf Series despite the presence of TLW Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 03:55, November 3, 2016 (UTC)
- That sounds good to me, thanks for that! Jonius7 talk 04:13, November 3, 2016 (UTC)
