I really think she is disguised as a Icyene because she gots blue eyes. Ancient staffHowiter1Zamorak staff 23:25, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Trust me she's not disguised, she the daughter of lord drakan himself.

I know she is but why she gots the same eyes like Saflann? Ancient staffHowiter1Zamorak staff 02:43, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

To be perfectly honest Jagex on occasion will either make uninventive looks (more correctly recycled) or makes mistakes. I agree that until confirmed by Jagex some can speculate that she is, however before adding something like that to an article I believe it would be better to have more evidence than simply her eyes.--

I see, but I still don't know if she is a Vampyre or a Icyeyan. I still think she is a Icyian.. Plus, who is drakan's wife?

Ancient staffHowiter1Zamorak staff 09:28, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Dude. Her dad's a Vampyre, she's a vampyre. I wonder if she might turn in a future quest. Rebel against Vanstrom to be with Safalaan. I bet you $10 either Safalaan or Venascuela will turn. Ya think Safalaan or Veliaf might die? When I saw the corpses in Legacy of Seergaze, I was like I knew it!

Dont forgt the theory that vyres may infact be bitten(and therefore corrupted) iceyenes.....

so, vanescula could be the daughter of effaritaty(sp?) who was bitten by drakan, and made into the vampyre she is(thereby being drakans "daughter")

furthermore, why would a a vyrewatch be a tortured soul? and notice their necks? theyre all skit and guttered.......more evidence that iceyenes were cpnverted into vyresNature runeFireyfoxTALKLaw rune 07:45, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

She might not even be his child What are the chances of lord draken telling the truth? less then the chances of him lieing

Vanescula is...[]

First of all, Vanescula is said to be Drakan's sister, not his daughter. Second, in Return to Canifis it is confirmed that vampyrism is not inherited from birth, so she can't be Drakan's actual sister. Third, if she's not his sister, she has blue eyes (didn't notice that, though, thanks to horrible chatface model), and is "interested" in Safalaan, then she must be Efaritay, the queen of the Icyene from before Drakan's arrival to Hallowvale (what we now know as Morytania). Since it is rumored that Safalaan himself is an Icyene and the son of Efaritay and Ascertes, this would make sense along with the fact that the Vyrewatch are the tortured souls of Icyene converted into vampyres by Drakan. This is a veryyy good theory. Though she could very well be Drakan's bloodborn sister. It wouldn't be that hard to turn brother and sister both into vampires. Though I don't think Drakan was really behind this. Maybe there is a god or something behind it. Icyene's were VERY powerfull creatures. How one being (Drakan) can turn an entire race....I just dont see it. Besides where did the first Vampire come from? If their just Icyene then Some manner of Godlike being must have made the first one.

Involved in a future quest and a theory[]

She might be a vyrewatch who plans to turn back into an iceyene and rebel against lord drakan since she tells vanstron klause to spare the player's life. Thats more evidence suggesting that she has something in mind and doesn't agree with Drakan's plans. If Lord Drakan saw the player he would tell vanstrom klause to finish him off. There might be a future quest in which you return morytania to its original state and safalaan and vanescula team up with the player and kill Lord Drakan. Infact there is a chance that safalaan and vanescula could be the iceyene king and queen of Hallowvale and were transformed into vyrewatches and in disguise.

The group picture showing Vanescula with other vampyres still links to the old photo. Could somebody fix this please?

Vanescula a Zarosian?[]

Vanescula mentioned at the end of The Lord of Vampyrium that she will make the vampyres can live like how they used to under the Zarosian Empire, does that show that Vanescula has zarosian loyalty? Dragon146 (talk) 18:09, September 19, 2015 (UTC)

Probably not. It's been implied that vampyres are godless, they just lived better under Zarosian rule than they do now, but only because they were not confined to Morytania and thus had more food sources available. Sunspear (melee)JampoloBlisterwood polearm 19:57, September 19, 2015 (UTC)
