Full Grown

I hope this helps!

"When pets were first released, many players complained that pets still required food even when fully grown, unlike the cats, which required no feeding once a kitten had grown up. This was explained as stress on the server as having a pet or familiar out all the time would inevitably slow them down. This is also the reason why timers are implemented and no familiars are allowed in high player density areas such as the Grand Exchange. Pets being high maintenance ironically detracted the players that would likely have the ability to own the higher levels, and wouldn't consider keeping them out other than for Alching, Fletching or other similar passive near-bank activities. This rings true especially for pets with non-stackable food, which is the majority. Familiars however filled the gap that many thought pets would take, as skill/combat aids and beasts of burden, leaving pets largely ignored for lack of any ability."

Cleanup

Pet total maturity time, hunger stage time, incubator time?

Can birds or chick go in the menagerie?

What happens if: you incubate 2 eggs, get 2 birds out the menagerie simultaneously get 2 birds out of bank (banked before update) etc.

Preserving extra info here

I'm rewriting the god bird pages by consolidating all useful relevant info into each, removing excess useless bulk, rewording, and copying to each page. Excess info cut is kept here:

the 7 hour figure was taken from the following info on the old page:

"The owl takes around 4 minutes to increase 1% in growth resulting in 6 hours 40 minutes per stage totalling at a 13 hours 20 minutes timeframe to grow from chick to a fully grown owl."

I changed it to say roughly 7 hours as a higher level of precision implied a higher level of accuracy.

"Warning: Although the Guthix chick may only be hatched if any other chicks, birds or fully grown God Raptors are placed in a Menagerie in a Player-owned house, Jagex has changed the ability to incubate more than one coloured birds egg at a time. If you have more than one egg in an incubator (Taverley and Yanille ) then be aware if you remove one of the chicks, then the other one will disappear when you try to take it out of the second incubator. Until this problem has been fixed, it is strongly advised that you make sure to allow any god birds to develop fully and store them in your menagerie before incubating another."

I removed this as it will be much less relevant today, years after the update, since very few people are still likely to have 2 eggs in incubation.

"Remember to make Ground fishing bait you have to use a pestle and mortar on the fishing bait."

Less relevant post tool belt update, also this info is already on the linked ground fishing bait page.
