Tam was a member of the Myreque, and was one of eight men sent to retrieve the sunspear. He was one of the five members who gets ambushed by bloodveld shortly before reaching the sunspear, and hid while his fellow Myreque were killed and eaten in front of him. When Gar'rth is making his escape with the dagger, Tam was grabbed by a bloodveld, and he begged Gar'rth to save him. Gar'rth, believing the dagger to be more important, left him, and Tam cursed him as a coward as he died.
