A teddy was one of the items found in the reward chests during the 2014 Hallowe'en event. Using the teddy would reduce your fear percentage by 30%, which let you dismiss more ghosts at once. Once the Teddy was hugged, it would vanish from your inventory and another one would have to be obtained from a chest in Death's house.
