How to, pls?

I was wondering if we could add a 'how to'-guide. I want to add a source using this template (because it stays available even after the original source, e.g on the fora have been deleted/lost, correct?), but I do not know how to do this. I think more people might have a problem with this... so it might well be very useful to make a short/small guide for this. . . . This template only provides a decorated link to an existing page. In itself it does nothing to guarantee the long term availability of an inherently ephemeral page.
Are you suggesting a 'how to' on use of this template (beyond the explanation already given on Cite, or a 'how to' on using some external archiving service, such as WebCite to create a more permanent remote page to link to as a reference (subject, of course, to the long term financial stability of the third party archiving service)?
