The test of strength machine is an attraction in the Spring Fayre, found in the north-western part of the crater. Hitting it during the event allows players to gain Strength experience.

Hitting the machine can result in three different messages:

  • What was that? You're not even trying!
  • Oh so close! You nearly hit the bell!
  • The bell has been rung! Good job!

There is a chance of approximately 75% of successfully ringing the bell.

At level 99 strength, hitting the strength machine successfully yields 111.3 Strength experience, or 122.4 during a Happy Hour.

Each action takes about 3.6 seconds, allowing up to 1,000 swings during Happy Hour.

There is a confirmation prompt about gaining experience before hitting the machine that can be toggled off permanently.

The machine cost two fayre attraction tokens. Only the latter of the messages consumed tokens and yielded experience and possibly six fayre prize tickets, or one during a Happy Hour.

At level 99 Strength each successful hit yielded 148.5 experience, or 163.3 experience during a Happy Hour.

At each success, there was about a 33% chance of obtaining a ticket. This gave roughly 25% chance of obtaining a ticket per click. During a Happy Hour one could obtain approximately 250 tickets.

Attempting to hit the machine without enough fayre attraction tokens prompted the messages:

  • You do not have enough fayre tokens to use this machine. You need 2 tokens.
  • You can get more fayre tokens and tickets from the stall by the Bucking Baroo.
