The Reef that Lies to Mapmakers is located in The Loop region. It is named for the constantly changing shape of the reef; some believe the reef itself is alive, while some believe it is due to geological instability. Most of the coral formations of this reef lie below the surface; only the unusual formation known as the Spires of Grief is large enough to house its own city.
