The Vacant Abyss is a music track that is unlocked at the start of the quest Summer's End (when you are called into the Spirit Realm).

Analysis

The main instrument is a repeating harp arpeggio, while strings and eerie synth sounds fade in and out, to create the impression of being stranded in an infinitely wide, unknown space of nothingness. It is relatively short and generally minimalist.
