Items required	Items from the tool belt are not listed unless they do not work or are not automatically added. Iron bar Log of any kind (may be harvested when needed) Flowers (can be bought from the Flower Girl for 15 coins) Cake (to marry the prince) Any bow (to marry the princess), excluding the training bow, composite bow, ogre bow, crystal bow, dark bow, chargebow, and boogie bow; it will be lost during the quest Any tradeable, non-enchanted metal ring (some rings, like the opal ring might not work. A ring that will work is the sapphire ring)
Recommended	Weight-reducing clothing or a means to restore energy, due to the amount of running involved - Mint cakes are a cheap option A good Hatchet or Pickaxe, to assist in gathering resources to gain approval from the population

Starting out

• Talk to King Vargas, 1^st2^nd floor^[UK] in the castle on the western island of Miscellania. You'll first need to open the throne room door and click through the dialogue with the guard. ( ✓)…

Being the messenger

• Run to the eastern island. On the 1^st2^nd floor^[UK] of the castle, talk to Queen Sigrid.
• Go back and talk to King Vargas.
• Go back and talk to Queen Sigrid.
• Talk to Prince Brand in the bedroom south of King Vargas's room. He will give you an awful anthem.
• Talk to Advisor Ghrim. After he adjusts the anthem, exit the conversation. The awful anthem will convert into a good anthem.
• Take the good anthem to Queen Sigrid.
• Talk to King Vargas.
• With an iron bar in your inventory, run to the anvil hut on the northern shore (the easternmost building).
• Talk to Derrik. ( 2)…

• Use the Giant nib on your logs.
• Talk to King Vargas.
• Talk to Advisor Ghrim about marriage. ( 2)…

  2	How am I supposed to get the [Princess/Prince] to marry me?

Getting married

• If you want to marry the princess:
  • Go to the room to the north and talk to Princess Astrid.
  • Talk to Princess Astrid again, read carefully what she says. You must agree with her.
  • Repeat this about 3 times until the chat options stop appearing.
  • Use the flowers on her. ( 1)…

  • Blow a kiss at Princess Astrid.
  • Use the ring on her. ( 1)…

  • Talk to King Vargas.
• If you want to marry the prince:
  • Go to the room to the south and talk to Prince Brand.
  • Talk to Prince Brand about 3 more times, trying to impress and/or agree with him.
  • Use the clap or cheer emote.
  • Use the flowers on him.
  • Talk to Prince Brand and agree with him again 3 times.
  • Listen to his saga.
  • Talk to Prince Brand and agree with him again 3 times.
  • Use the cake on him.
  • Talk to Prince Brand and agree with him again 3 times.
  • When he calls you 'Dear', blow a kiss at him.
  • Use the ring on Prince Brand.
  • Talk to King Vargas.

Helping the population

• Talk to Advisor Ghrim about support. ( 2)…

  2	How do I gain the support of the population?

• You need to make the population like you. To do this, perform any of the following tasks on the island:
  • Raking weeds
  • Chopping maple trees (logs will not be obtained)
  • Mining coal (ore will not be obtained)
  • Fishing via cage or harpoon at the docks to the south (fish will not be obtained)
• You can check your approval percentage by talking to the people you're helping.

Finishing up

• Once you have 75% approval, talk to King Vargas.
• Quest complete!

Rewards

• 1 quest point
• Management of Miscellania
• Ability to teleport to Miscellania with a ring of wealth, ring of fortune, or luck of the dwarves
• Ability to purchase Miscellania Portrait from Sir Renitee
