This article is about the non-attackable NPC. For the monster, see Tolna (monster).

Tolna Talvoy is a non-player character who is the child of Launa and Brana. He is involved in A Soul's Bane, ironically being both the principal antagonist and the non-player character to be rescued.

Tolna was apparently very ambitious as a young boy. He was born into a rather humble family, but left the presence of his mother, Launa, in search of a better life. However, he became lost in a cavern, which was later known as the Dungeon of Tolna (being named after him).

Over the years, he gradually mutated into a three-headed monster, which players defeat during A Soul's Bane.

After being defeated, Tolna returns to his human form, and is reunited with his parents. He safeguards the rift so that passers-by will not accidentally suffer the same fate he did. He allows players to enter the rift so they can train on the now-stronger creatures they encountered during the quest.

Trivia

  • Despite the fact that he is missing a boot, he will not respond if you attempt to give him an old boot or forlorn boot. However, both of those types of boots are for right feet and Tolna's missing boot is the left one.
  • It is interesting to note that Tolna's eyes have changed colour by this stage; they were green when he was a child, but are blue by the time he is an adult.
