How do I claim an uncharted isle?
Boni (rewards): Easy, peasy, my dear. The uncharted isles are ripe fruit waiting to be plucked.
(Miniquest noticeboard opens up.)

Boni (rewards): You need only plant a flag upon an uncharted isle to warn other explorers that you have claimed this territory. You'll then be able to return by ship to your claimed island with ease.
Player: And where can I get one of these flags?
Boni (rewards): That's less easy, and ever so slightly peasy. If circumstances were better, I'd construct a flag for you tailored to your specifications, and sell it in my shop. Unfortunately, my loom's broken. I'm quite proud of it, you know. I built the loom myself out of materials recycled from ship wreckage and other flotsam. I'd gather more driftwood myself, but I can't leave my shop unattended.
Player: I want my own island. I'll do whatever it takes.
Boni (rewards): 5 driftwood should be enough to repair the loom. It typically washes up on the shores of uncharted isles.
Player: I'll get back to you when I have enough driftwood.

She gives you a flag. When you find an uncharted isle you want to keep, plant the flag anywhere on the island.
Boni (rewards): I recommend you carry a flag with you when you're exploring uncharted isles. You never know when you might find a better island to claim!
