Transcript

Alright. This is .

We should probably try to document potential "branching paths" here, as well as perhaps what conditions we chose that led to each outcome.

Also, I've heard that people who didn't restore the Dark Shard to Seren did not receive the option to allow Armadyl to talk about his proposal?

Conditions

As there are a number of variables (some confirmed; some as of yet not confirmed) that go into what encounters each player will encounter, how different characters will react, and what outcomes will unfold, I think it will be helpful to collect & share what we already know, and perhaps to keep a running list/tally of confirmed results, known variables and their outcomes, based on what Jmods say and/or actual player experiences. This will help us to better understand what variables affect (& don't affect) what outcomes, and how player choices come into play.

I will post some reports, to start, that I know of from playthroughs, what players have said and/or what Jmods have said. Please feel free to also add any reports that you also have. JivaSoul (talk) 07:38, December 22, 2016 (UTC)

  • Player who supported Saradomin in multiple Sixth Age encounters (World Events: Battle of Lumbridge, Tuska Comes; Quests: Death of Chivalry, Missing, Presumed Death):
    • Received a proper answer from Saradomin when asking about his ascension, which is only given to those whom Saradomin deems worthy by having shown loyalty to him.
    • Saradomin: I was a justicar on Teragard, one tasked with upholding and enforcing the law. I risked my life each day to preserve order and protect the innocent. At times the forces of avarice and corruption I fought against seemed insurmountable. Upholding the law was a tough yet noble duty, and my obsession. It took its toll on me, and my family, but my community thrived as a result. Perhaps that's why the Crown chose me. It could sense in me that drive for order. That yearning for the world to be the best it could. You perhaps expect the Crown to have been discovered at the end of an epic quest. Perhaps I slew demons or wrestled chthonic entities into the abyss, but I did none of those things. Instead, whilst hunting down a criminal, I discovered a cave that hadn't seen human life...ever. Within, I saw a golden circlet that called out to me, choosing me. This was the Crown and I knew without hesitation that it was made for me. That I had been chosen. My apotheosis did not happen overnight. The Crown led me to objects of power and importance, and these became my tools. With them, I began to slowly reshape Teragard into something greater. Over time, I discovered the tools were no longer necessary, and that I now wielded the power without them. Henceforth, my power grew and grew, and I took my rightful place as the god of Teragard. Progression from there was obvious and inevitable. I realised that there would be other worlds out there, worlds that needed guidance and order. I would not leave them forgotten.

There's also a condition regarding Ichtlarin and Death. Some folk, like myself, only had the two argue because only Ichtlarin was invited to the event, and later events didn't have Death when he was to appear alongside Ichtlarin. The condition for this is having Death kill Gielinor in Nomad's Elegy, as I asked Mods Shauny and Raven about it during their livestream of the quest. However, I've also heard from someone that they let Ichtlarin get the kill, but Death still appeared in the maze. A bug, perhaps? Either way, an Ichtlarin & Death argument in Death's Office, along with Ichtlarin-only versions of later encounter(s), like after Sliske's death, do exist. (Feel free to move/format this as you demm necessary.)
