Tri-jester hat was removed from RuneScape after an update, but still exists in-game for those who had obtained it.

Tri-jester hats were one of the rewards for the 2005 Christmas event. Tri-jester hats confer no bonuses and are purely aesthetic. To obtain the hat players had to deliver presents from Diango in Draynor Village and to a mysterious man at the Taverley gate. The Tri-jester scarf matches this item. The tri-jester hat is discontinued. If players lose this item, it may be reobtained from Diango, who is located in the Draynor Village market.

During the 15 Days of Christmas in 2013, this item, along with other Christmas-themed equipment, were given the Hybrid style of combat, and stats that scaled with the player's levels. This was so players could use these items in combat to assist in hunting for festive crackers during the event.
