The turkey hat is a vanity item made available on 18 November 2011. To obtain a turkey hat, players could purchase a 90 day RuneScape game card from Target (US) or GAME (UK) stores and redeem it between 18 November - 8 December 2011, or purchase the gold premier club between 20 December 2012 and 31 January 2013. The next time a player logged in after doing so, the hat would be deposited into their bank, or sent to Diango if they didn't have space. The hat can be stored in the Toy box in the costume room of a player-owned house. A cosmetic override of this item is also available from Solomon's General Store.
On 28 November 2013, the cosmetic override version was given to all members that logged into RuneScape on that day as part of the 2013 Thanksgiving event.

- The turkey hat is the third vanity item obtained from membership cards (after the Ornate katana and Green skin).
- If the 90 day membership card was not bought from TARGET (US) or GAME (UK), you would not get a turkey hat.
