Uncooked shark soup can be made at level 96 Cooking by using ingredients found in The Arc. Making uncooked shark soup requires the following ingredients:
- 1 shiny tortle shell bowl (regular tortle shell bowl will not work)
- 1 bundle of bamboo
- 1 wushroom
- 1 wobbegong oil
- 1 alaea sea salt
Use any of the ingredients on the bowl to create the soup, or right-click on a shiny tortle shell bowl and select the "mix" option, and then cook the uncooked shark soup on a fire or range to produce shark soup. If cooking is unsuccessful, the player will produce a burnt shark soup.
Uncooked shark soup can also be bought from Tang Chufang for 400 chimes and sold to the shop for 40 chimes. Due to the time it takes to collect and process the ingredients for shark soup, it is recommend to cook them on a portable range to maximise the number produced.
Ingredients for making uncooked shark soup adds up to 40 chimes (base price, no upgrades) if sold separately in the Waiko market. Thus, mixing ingredients into an uncooked shark soup and selling the uncooked soup is a loss of 5 chimes. However, a cooked shark soup sells for 50 chimes, a profit of 10 chimes more than the ingredients sold separately.
