An uncut diamond is a white gemstone used in Crafting and Fletching. An uncut diamond can be crafted into a diamond, requiring level 43 Crafting and yielding 107.5 Crafting experience.
At level 65 Fletching, players can cut a diamond into 12 diamond bolt tips, yieldng 7 Fletching experience.
Although formally released on 8 May2001, uncut gems were briefly obtainable following the 17 March 2001 Cooking update, prior to the Crafting skills full implemention.
In RuneScape Classic, silver ore was visually identical to uncut diamonds upon release; this was later changed.
A single uncut diamond is a possible prize from Treasure Hunter. When choosing the option to convert this prize to coins, players receive 500 coins, which is −4,343 coins less than selling them on the Grand Exchange.
