An uncut ruby is a red gemstone used in Crafting and Fletching. An uncut ruby can be crafted into a ruby, requiring level 34 Crafting and yielding 85 Crafting experience. Members can use the Fletching skill to cut a ruby into 12 ruby bolt tips at level 63 Fletching, yielding 6 Fletching experience.
Uncut rubies can be obtained randomly while mining ores, dropped as loot from defeating monsters, rewarded as a prize from many Distractions and Diversions, mined from gem rocks found throughout Gielinor at level 40 Mining, and may be obtained from cracking Wall safes found in the Rogues' Den at level 50 Thieving.
