Meilyr potion recipe detail

An Unreadable page is a lost text containing recipes for the Meilyr Clan in Prifddinas. It can be found within Daemonheim on any floor at any complexity (even on free worlds), or received from the Motherlode Maw.

Pages can be found lying on the floor. It will show up on the minimap as a red dot, but the object is technically scenery. There is a 1 in 320 chance of finding a page after opening a door at 120 Dungeoneering and a 1 in 107 chance of finding a page in a Hard mode floor[1]; however, there is no guarantee that a page will be found on any floor. Picking it up gives the message: "You pick up the strange note. Unable to decipher its contents you place it within your elven journal."

It is possible for more than one page to spawn on a single floor. At level 75 Dungeoneering (minimum required to obtain the pages) the chance is 4x lower, thus 1 in 1280 per door opened. In a group dungeon, the page will appear for all party members, however, only one member can pick it up.

If a player has already found all 9 pages, they are unable to see or generate a page spawn for any other party members to find. A player who hasn't talked to Lady Meilyr can generate a page, but they cannot pick it up and it will be invisible to other players.

A perfect juju herblore potion will increase the chance of finding a page by 10%, and a perfect juju dungeoneering potion can also increase the chance. A page is a guaranteed find with a Consistent yak solo/team card obtained from Gorajo hoardstalker.

By finding the first unreadable page for the super melee potion, making that combination potion, and then giving the potion to Lady Meilyr, she will reward you with the Melee XP lamp. Finding all nine pages and receiving this lamp are both requirements for the Completionist cape.

It can also be bought for 500,000 dungeoneering tokens if the player has yet to unlock them all.

Trivia

  • The text on the page is the filler text Lorem ipsum.
  • There was a glitch that allowed players to loot the Motherlode Maw again after having received an unreadable page. This has been fixed.
  • On the Daemonheim rewards interface, it is referred as "Meilyr potion recipe".
