An unstrung lyre can be made by cutting a branch from the swaying tree east of Rellekka and then using a knife on it. The unstrung lyre can be strung using a ball of golden wool which turns it into a normal lyre. You can also get a normal Lyre by killing the citizens of Rellekka until they drop one. However, this might take a very long time. This object is available in the The Fremennik Trials quest.
You need 25 Fletching to attach the golden wool to the Unstrung lyre. Lower levelled players may attempt to obtain the drop from NPCs around Rellekka, however it is a rare drop.
The 2 NPCs that drop are Lanzig and Freidir in their huts in the south-eastern area of the village.
