I wonder who was #1 mil...
That means Jagex gets $5 million a month from subscriptions alone! Not to mention advertising, and the higher cost of some payment methods... Mathwhiz90601 21:12, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
- Wow, they are, as I have mentioned before, a no-name company. $5,000,000 a month is almost nothing compared to what they should be getting. If at least 5 million out of the 15 some million players were members, they would get a lot more. Ilyas Talk Contribs 21:17, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
- The f2p worlds are self supporting due to the advertisements. Member subscriptions are covering the development of new content. There are four times more free to play players than member players. Even so, it's not a huge company by any measure, but a nice turnover for a game company with a single game. --Miw 07:36, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, they do have 4 other games, but they all are free, non-multiplayer, and very minor compared to RuneScape. Mathwhiz90601 01:31, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
