He doesn't seem very specific. The only thing that he said would be done is the removal of video advertisements. I wish he would be more specific than just saying that they want to make the game more "fun". --{{Signatures/Shadesleer}} 07:04, 10 Feburary 2009 {CST}

I heartly agree with chiafriend on the truthful company subject, i know jagex can't help delay's but maybe they should take into consideration that there 'will' be mistake's and shouldn't promise it's player's until they know they've got all the glitches and bugs out of the way.{{signatures/ruudvan10000}}10:29, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

I really hope the new CEO fixes up Jagex. So far, they have ignored players and only looked to the forums when it suited their purpose (as in which new summoning creature to release). It would be nice to see a change. But, seeing how they have made most of the past player-made works of art inaccessible and instead showed three "best of" galleries and how they plan to show less player-made art, I wonder how much change there will really be.

P.S. What's up with all the new, hope filled leaders this year? [[User:Wrathanet|Wrathanet]] 01:51, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

As a player who's sort of older than most, I agree with him about feeling dumbed down to by the Stronghold of Security. GoldFalcon 08:13, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Jagex is not normally a company who breaks their promises. As they elected their new CEO, I'm sure that they wouldn't have picked him randomly in hope that he would make a difference to RuneScape. If anything, I think that this announcement has been the most useful article released by Jagex in quite a while. I believe that Mark will do a good job at RuneScape, he sounds promising. I don't mean to contradict you, but Jagex has had a habit of not doing what they say.
  • They said the older graphics would be available after the graphics update. They weren't.
  • They said that they would randomly give away ten signed copies of Betrayal at Falador to ten lucky pre-orderers. They didn't; instead they auctioned them on eBay, starting in October.
  • They (or at least one of the J-Mods) said that PvP Worlds would come out in September. They came out in mid-October.
They definitely aren't the most truthful company. Though, with a new CEO, it may be a new beginning. Dragon medium helm! Whaddaya know?Chiafriend12Better than rune!Loon is best buttlord 17:29, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
