68.122.42.223's block
I see that you've blocked 68.122.42.223. It seems that (s)he's only edited once, and I don't think it's really that vandalous of an edit (my opinion). Could you tell me why you blocked him/her?--Well, that's not a good question. Could you tell me what you think of the edit?

gemw in Infobox Item
I think it was a little mistake from me to base the "gemw" value on the item's page name. I think it would be better if I based it on the "name" parameter, like I did for Infobar Item... Shall I make this change? This would make it easier to use "gemw" instead of {{GEPrice|Item name}}, because it would just require to set the "name" field properly instead of renaming the article.

RuneScape:Grand Exchange Market Watch Project
I like the idea of a "wikiproject" for those interested in working on the GEMW pages. Some significant issues can be worked on as a group, and the technical issues are still something worth considering as well.
My issue/concern here about starting a seperate page is to understand where RuneScape talk:Grand Exchange Market Watch Project would be used that is different from Talk:Grand Exchange Market Watch. I can see some differences, but it would be useful to help define the scope of the two different talk pages. My concern is mainly trying to find a common place to address concerns about the whole concept of a market watch.
Since you've started this "Wikiproject", I'll let you decide on how you want to go with this... perhaps as a suggestion that general discussions about the market watch go on the project talk page, and discussion about the layout/organization of the main GEMW page remain on that talk page. Or some other idea that you might have. --Robert Horning 17:26, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- This was meant to be an editor's user guide or technical documentation of the current GEMW activities currently going on to help editors understand more about how it works. So, i will change the name from Project to Documentation as a subpage of GEMW. Since you are the one who started this project, please add to this as I am still trying to understand how everything works together. Chrislee33 20:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
Need Help
I need help with my banner... i need to remove the space that is blocking part of the words "Only The Elite" and also the space at the end of the box between the border and the picture. here's the link to my banner...User:RuneElite/Banner ty for your help
Only The Elite - RuneElite
- Your banner width is set to 100%; so if your browser width is larger than the banner, the spaces will get wider. You might want to change the width to a fixed amount; 564px is the smallest before the text starts word wrapping. If you change your text, then the width needs to be changed. So, try changing the width from width:100% to width:564px or more... Chrislee33 03:15, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

I have a few things I would like to mention. Thanks for the praise :) and I know about Total Rune and his Buck Nell accounts. But, when you say work on the official policy, how would I go about doing that? Rather than ranting on a talk page, could you tell me where I could go? Arias
Knight 20:33, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- You could start a new section on the talk page for CVU where you started the topic earlier. Later it can be moved to a new page Runescape:Blocking guidelines or blocking policy or ??? Start a draft with some ideas or points you feel are important and others will add or comment on them. Process may take a few weeks or so. Glad you are taking this on. Reverting 2 or more vandalism on 1 page
Hi, I notice your active atm so I am picking you to ask this question, hope you don't mind. Lately I have been noticing more vandalisms on pages where the vandal edits twice or more, and then I can not click the undo button. Is this something I am doing wrong or what? Is there a way to just pick an earlier verison of an aticle to revert to? I am not on the wiki hours a day but I do like to check 3 or times for bad stuff to get rid of, and this info would help me. Thanks.--Degenret01 05:34, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
See Help:Revert#Reverting_vandalism. Better yet, ask a bureaucrat for the rollback button which does the same thing easier and faster. See RuneScape:Administrators#List_of_Administrators. An asterisk (*) denotes a user with bureaucrat status. Keep up the good work. Chrislee33 06:03, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Moving Holy grail
Hi. :-) I'm trying to move around the two pages Holy Grail (which should be the article about the quest) and Holy grail (which should be the article about the item). Each will have a dab link to the other at the top, but with the redirects already in place it's not working properly. Could you help please? If you can, could you also please delete 'The Holy Grail (Disambiguation)', since it will be redundant. Many thanks. :-) Leevclarke 16:16, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

RE: Your problem report
Maybe not. There's no comma in Exchange:Magic shieldbow. I don't know where you're trying to use the {{GEPrice|Magic shieldbow}} template, but try it like this: {{GEPrice|Magic shieldbow|n}} and see if that fixes it. --Andorin (Talk) (Contribs) 04:26, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I removed the comma in the Price field and that fixed the problem. What does the 'n' argument do in the GEPrice template? There needs to be more documentation for that template. Commas in the Price field of Exchange: articles also causes problems in GEMW giving a Red expression error in the Direction column as well as some of the market indexes. Chrislee33 05:03, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- I don't know the specifics of n, but I remember a while back I was putting together an {{#expr: formula to see how much blue dragons were worth, by adding the prices of their bones and hides. Put in as
{{#expr:{{GEPrice|Dragon bones}} + {{GEPrice|Blue dragonhide}}}}created the "," error, but adding the n part fixed it. So... I guess it treats the value as a straight number without any breaks? Either way, it fixes it. --Andorin (Talk) (Contribs) 05:57, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Multiple edits
Is it okay to edit a single article multiple times, when it is possible to edit the article at once? I've seen you do that (Rocking Out , for example). I remember reading somewhere that multiple editting is not recommended, and since there is a "Show preview" button for reviewing your edits. Is multiple editting allowed now? -- az talk 07:37, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not aware of that rule. Preview to review is good. For quests I usually edit as I do the quest and find errors or need to add helpful information. For long articles I usually edit by subsections to avoid edit conflicts with another editor. Chrislee33 04:36, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Removing Comments from 'Exchange:' pages
You recently removed comments on how to update prices on Exchange: pages? I reverted one, but then noticed you'd done it on another page, so I thought I'd bring it up on your talk page incase I missed something. Thanks in advance King Runite1 11:08, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hopefully most users update the price using the 'update' link on the item article page (e.g. Bones) or the 'edit' link on the GEMW pages (e.g. Grand Exchange Market Watch/Prayer rather than going directly to the exchange page. These links add the update directions
{{GEMWHelp}}to the template just above the edit box. If they directly edit Exchange:Bones, then the directions will not be available. Some of the original ideas for this was to standardize the wording as well as reduce the text for each of the exchange articles. See Talk:Grand_Exchange_Market_Watch#Adding_.22edit_help.22_when_manually_editing_exchange_prices. If you disagree, we could just leave them in. Chrislee33 22:12, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

User page links.
Hi, I've removed the broken links on your userpage to keep them from appearing on the wanted pages. 06:37, 25 July 2008 (UTC)GEMW
I hadn't noticed previously while working on the GEMW that redirects had effected the GEMW at all. Is this not the case? If the GEMW page needs to be re-directed to the article to match the name, then perhaps the article needs to be changed to the in-game name to match the GEMW and the style guide. Karlis (talk) (contribs)
19:48, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- I feel you are pointing fingers at the wrong person. All I am doing is adding exchange = GEMW to articles. I did not create the pages you moved, such as Exchange:Black dragonhide vambraces, I redirected [[Exchange:Black d'hide vamb]] to that page, as it was already created. If you look at the Grand Exchange Market Watch/Crafting, all of the dragonhide pages were created as their full names, not their actual in-game names. I didn't see me creating any pages that didn't include the in-game name, only re-dir some GEMW's that were already created under the full name. Karlis (talk) (contribs)
20:07, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- Ugh, these computers are so slow at work, forgive me for all of the posts. A lot of the GEMW articles, such as Exchange:Marrentill are on the wrong page, as Marrentill is either Clean marrentill orGrimy marrentill. Would it be better to move Exchange:Marrentill to Exchange:Clean marrentill, for example? I can do this from now on, though I* must say that I always check the GEMW links after I redirect pages and have yet to find an error. Karlis (talk) (contribs)
20:12, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
I did some extensive work on the GEMW today, clearing out nearly all of the Category:Needs price. Many of the GEMW articles have not been created yet as they have not shown up on the Wanted Pages yet, and I got a little tired of it after 8 hours. If you're feeling in a GEMW mood, you can check my contribs and create the articles from the broken links on that page. Otherwise, I will work on them a little later. Also, I created a new subpage of the Grand Exchange Market Watch called Grand Exchange Market Watch/Uncategorised to quickly add all of the articles without having to update every subpage every time. If you want to use it, feel free to do so. You can read-up more on the page. As it got tiring, you may find a few mistakes later on, but I made sure I took extra time to move many pages to the correct in-game name. Karlis (talk) (contribs)

- I must admit, you're certainly full of wonderful ideas~ The "What links here" saves so much time, and also makes it much easier for me to edit while at work. I wish I shared your knowledge of the wiki, it sure would come in handy from time-to-time. Suppose I'd best finish up the wanted pages of Exchange articles. Question
Heya Chrislee, Just have a quick question: Are YouTube videos allowed to be embedded? I met you once before in-game, so you may remember me for being ranked in Team Penguin. I started making weekly YouTube videos of the penguin locations about 9 weeks ago or so. Two weeks ago I started embedding them onto the Distractions and Diversions Locations page to help players better understand where the penguins are. There ARE a couple references to Team Penguin if the player needed help with penguins. There are Riods supporters apparently who dislike the video all together (who are NOT RS Wiki Admins) who have deleted the video for the second time from the page. Personally, just because a few people are against the group doesn't mean that they can ruin the help that it has provided with Over 1,200 players (going by views from last weeks video). The video is definitely more help than advertisement. I checked, and I am the ONLY person creating weekly penguin locations videos and posting them on Youtube. If they really want an add-free helpful video, they can make it themselves.
Guess it wasn't quick, but thank you anyway for your time. Boomer12342 21:50, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

So, do you think this one: [1] or this one: [2] is better/easyer to see or search than tis one: [3]

- I actually prefer only the short table without pics so i can see all the locations in one screen. User:Saftzie made the modification with the table style to allow toggling between long and short table. Months ago i was adding the short table every week and Saftzie made some changes to add the short table to the long table as a toggle; i do not understand the coding that was done. Saftzie has also been doing a great job updating the locations every week. Please contact User:Saftzie about your updates. thanks for helping out. Chrislee33 (talk) 21:39, May 5, 2013 (UTC)
- You seem to be confused as to the change the IP made. The table seen when visibility is toggled was previously too large to fit on the unmodified Oasis theme that logged out users see. The only change was to make the table fit within the Oasis side rails. Suppa chuppa Talk 21:47, May 5, 2013 (UTC)

I asked various times if autoclicker was legitimate ingame and was told multiple times it was and only now did i realise it was sectioned under macro use. I really am sorry and i regret being ignorant. Please give me an alternative method to get the account back. How much will it cost to reinstate or lift this ban i just want one chance only to play this game, i did not check the terms and conditions as they seem to go on for ever but i did so recently after receiving this ban. I deeply regret it and want one more chance to play good and make a beast character without starting from tutorial island. please. I am so sorry and had you helped me retrieve my player i will ensure that i do not make the same mistake or use any macro device at all i will learn my lesson and thats not a bluff at all. Please i'm begging you, the nostalgia is eating at me and i find playing the game so enjoyable and fun. Please forgive me, my username is M U 12 D A / ibrahim_1789@hotmail.co.uk. Please find forgiveness within you to forgive me for my idiocy. Please. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by I B Z O (talk) on 05:07, July 31, 2016 (UTC).

- Just noticed when the last message on here was, guess you've been inactive for a while (although the "no images of text" thing was policy long before that). We can use a template, RSFont, to replicate chatbox messages like that one, meaning that such images are even more irrelevant than they used to be.

Wikian title
Hey there, I noticed you started editing again lately. Not sure if you're aware of it already, but we recently gained a Wikian title which we are giving out to people who have made significant contributions to the wiki. Given how much you've edited in the past you should be eligible to receive it; so let me know if you would like me to nominate you for it (or you can self-nominate if you prefer).

The Wikian Title
Hi Chrislee33, your request for the Wikian title was successful. Please contact Gaz Lloyd on his talk page, in the wiki Discord channel, or in-game (RSN: User:Gaz Lloyd/name) so that he may give you the title. Sincerely, --LiquidTalk 00:23, April 9, 2018 (UTC)
Wikia forking thread
Hey Chris! I wanted to give you a heads up that there's a thread (Forum:Leaving Wikia) up for discussion right now about moving this wiki (and OSRS wiki) away from Wikia, to a self-hosted, Jagex-supported site. We'd love your input on the proposal (and the new wikis). Thanks! ʞooɔ 21:05, September 26, 2018 (UTC)
