Vasile is a resident of Burgh de Rott, a small human settlement in southern Morytania. Vasile, like many of the town's residents, hopes to flee Morytania and travel to Misthalin via the Paterdomus. He's eating a rat on a stick.
He disappears after The Branches of Darkmeyer the day after Teodor goes missing, causing Amelia to note that Vasile has now gone missing too. A missing person poster appears on the northern wall of the Burgh De Rott pub, which reads "Missing: Vasile - last seen eating a rat."
