The Virtus book is an off-hand Magic weapon that requires 80 Magic to wield. It was released with the Evolution of Combat, and is dropped exclusively by Nex in the God Wars Dungeon. The Virtus book currently ranks second as the strongest and most expensive off-hand Magic weapon in the game, behind the Seismic singularity. As of 7 January 2014, the book is degradable and will now protect against followers in the God Wars Dungeon.
When received with CoinShare active, the Virtus book will be dropped as 120 Virtus book shards split evenly among the players and sent directly to their banks. 120 shards can be combined to create this item.
It costs 1,000,000 to repair the book on an armour stand with 100 Smithing, or it can be repaired by Bob in Lumbridge for 2,000,000.
