The blue voting hat was released with the Tools for Games update on 15 July 2009. It is sold by Faruq in Al-Kharid. Its purpose is to let players create games more easily. The hat is actually two different colours: red on one side and blue on the other side. If one wishes to change the hat's colour from red to blue, he should right-click the hat while it is in his inventory and select "Turn out Voting hat (red)" and it will change to blue, or vice versa. While in a friends chat, these hats can be used in conjunction with the Orb of Counting. The Orb of Counting counts the number of red and blue hats to help with a voting process.
