The red voting hat is an item that can be bought from Faruq's Tools for Games in Al Kharid. Its purpose is to let players create games more easily. The hat is actually two different colours: red on one side and blue on the other side. If one wishes to change the hat's colour from red to blue, he should right-click the hat while it is in his inventory and select "Turn out Voting hat (red)" and it will change to blue, or vice versa. While in a friends chat, these hats can be used in conjunction with the Orb of Counting. The Orb of Counting counts the number of red and blue hats to help with a voting process.
