The Waiko Reward Shop is a shop run by Boni that sells unlocks (including upgrades for activities pertaining to the Arc), items, customisations for claimed uncharted isles, and experience lamps. It is located in the north east corner of the market area of Waiko.

Players must complete the Impressing the Locals quest in order to access The Arc. The Waiko Reward Shop only accepts a combination of chimes and taijitu as currency.

With the release of the second batch of the Arc on 10 October 2016, the former Waiko Item Shop was merged with this shop.

With the exception of small random to medium random (which is the same) increasing the level of lamp increases the amount of experience per chime. Chimes (in conjunction with taijitu) may be used to purchase trade goods, giving rise to certain ports skills experience, which can earn bonuses and also produce valuable commodities.

Cape requirements[]

Various unlocks are requirements for either the completionist cape or its trimmed counterpart. This does not include the unlocks a player can unlock from the Ports Reward Shop.

The regular completionist cape requires the following to be purchased for a total of 24,750 chimes and 21 taijitu:

Tier 1 of all upgrades
Waiko grill, Whale's Maw's deposit box and camp fire
Crystal tool siphon blueprint
Arc journal teletabs

The trimmed completionist cape requires the following to be purchased for 25000 chimes and 25 taijitu (in addition to the regular completionist cape requirements):

Trivia[]

Prior to 10 October 2016, it was required to purchase the option to unlock the bank chest on Waiko. With the second batch release, it was unlocked for everyone. No refund was given for those who had purchased it.
On 20 March 2017 an update added High Armour of Hanto to Waiko Reward Shop.
