Yanille watchmen are guards located on the middle floor of the Watchtower on the western end of Yanille. They can be attacked and pickpocketed at level 65 Thieving.
Thieving from them yields 60 coins and bread along with 137.5 experience. They provide a convenient method of training Thieving, as players can eat the bread to restore health lost when they are caught and stunned, removing the need to steal food from a nearby stall or make trips to the bank for food. Some players even prefer them to Menaphite thugs, as they do not require a blackjack and provide the same amount of experience and coins.
At 90 thieving these can be an excellent training choice due to high XP rates reaching almost 175k experience per hour. Although, at lower levels you can miss several times even with items such as Ardougne cloak 3 and Gloves of silence.
To get to the middle floor of the Watchtower, you must enter Yanille from the gates East of the Lodestone. You should then walk North and follow the Northern Wall until you see a tunnel, and then climb through it. After that, walk West to the Watchtower. On the North of the building, you will see a trellis. Climb the trellis, and then you will find yourself on the middle floor of the Watchtower, with some Watchmen walking around.
