A detailed image of a wergali seed.

Wergali seeds can be planted in a herb patch in order to produce grimy wergali. This requires a Farming level of 46.

A nearby gardener will not watch over your growing wergali. However, if a player has completed My Arm's Big Adventure, they will have access to a disease-free herb patch, so it is advisable to grow Wergali seeds and other high-level herbs at My Arm's herb patch.

Wergali seeds can be obtained as a monster drop (see below), from Managing Miscellania if your workers are assigned to Farming, from clearing a dead herb patch if a player has the Scroll of life effect on their account or bought from the Vinesweeper minigame for 3800 points each.

Planting wergali seeds is very profitable, so therefore players are advised to make sure that the herb does not die. Supercompost (or Fertile Soil spell) is strongly recommended, as this is the best way of preventing your herbs from getting diseased, as it is not possible to water the patch or to ask a farmer to tend the herbs.

The following table shows the profit yield, assuming all the herbs and seeds are purchased/sold at the Grand Exchange, for the guide price. If the herb dies, you will lose −1,903 coins.

Herb yield Profit/loss (Grimy) Profit/loss (Clean) Herb yield Profit/loss (Grimy) Profit/loss (Clean)

Note: Supercompost yields a minimum of 5 herbs.
