The whirlpool is a random event that spawns on the Deep Sea Fishing hub and lasts ~5 minutes. Players are able to fish random fish or throw coins into it in order to receive different titles. If, during one duration of the whirlpool, more than 10,000,000 are thrown into it, all players will receive a random deep sea fishing buff, that will last for 30 minutes if the player was there when it spawned, or 10 minutes if the player hopped worlds.
Throwing any amount of money into the whirlpool will complete the Make A Wish achievement.
