White partyhat detail
White partyhat chathead

White partyhats were available on Christmas 2001 as a holiday present. They were retrieved when one player "used" a Christmas cracker with another player. One of the two participants received a random gift and the other received a partyhat. Since they were discontinued so long ago, partyhats are some of the most expensive and rare items in RuneScape. They do not have any stat bonuses when worn, and are commonly worn to show off wealth. White is currently the most expensive partyhat. White partyhats are the most sought after partyhat in RuneScape, according to a poll that was released.[1] They rose considerably in price with the introduction of free trade again in February 2011.
