Wilderness Flash Events are small Distractions and Diversions events in the Wilderness. The flash events occur every hour on a repeating cycle. There are 10 skilling events (two of these are special events with multiple stages) and 3 combat events (one of these is a special event with one stage) for a total of 13 events. There are no level or quest requirements, and players can freely participate in the activity every hour.

The rewards for participating in and successfully completing a flash event include one sack of wild rewards for standard events and one sack of very wild rewards for special events. Additionally, players receive one sack of wild rewards for each stage of the special events.
