A player casting wind wave.
Wind Wave is a members only spell that requires 62 Magic and can do a maximum of 170 damage per spell. The damage is increased to 190 if using a stave with a 10% damage boost. It has a theoretical damage of 250 when used with a special staff and extreme magic potion, although this has not been proven yet. It is the second most powerful wind spell, the strongest being Wind Surge. The new wind wave, and the other elemental combat spells seems to be based after the TV series "Avatar: The Last Airbender."
Wind Wave costs 1128 coins for each cast. If a player uses a Staff of air, this price is reduced to 678 coins for each cast.
The Wind Wave, along with all other Strike spells, Bolt spells, Blast spells, Wave spells and Surge spells were graphically changed on 24 June 2010.
