Leg protection, made from smelly yak-hide.

Yak-hide armour are pieces of member's only armour. You need level 20 defence to wear yak-hide legs. Yak hide legs can be obtained either by using the Crafting skill or by trading with another player.

To make yak-hide legs and top the player must first have started The Fremennik Isles quest. The player needs a Cured yak-hide (obtained from killing yaks and then tanned by Thakkrad Sigmundson), a needle and some thread (1 thread is used for every 5 legs crafted). Creating yak-hide legs requires level 43 Crafting and will grant the player 32 experience. If you buy the hides from Vanligga Gastfrihet and then tan them through Thakkrad, you can cast High Level Alchemy on these to make your money back, although the price of nature runes will likely cause a loss.
