Yakamaru's helmet is a drop from Yakamaru that can be inspected to unlock the Yakaminu pet. Unlike normal loot from Yakamaru, the helmet is dropped to the floor (not in the interface) and must be picked up. If the raid is left without collecting the helmet (including being kicked), it will be added to your inventory shortly after.
The helmet follows the boss pet threshold system, with a drop chance of 1/300 and a threshold of 60. It can be obtained from non-loot kills.
