The yew composite bow is a member's only composite bow that can use arrows up to rune. It requires 40 Ranged to use. The attack range of the yew composite bow is 9 spaces.
To obtain a yew composite bow the player can either complete any Level Treasure trail, trade with another player or purchase one off the Grand Exchange. The yew composite bow cannot be made using the Fletching skill.
The yew composite bow is seldom used for combat, since a yew shieldbow is functionally equivalent and much easier to create.
