Walkthrough

Start point	Begin by speaking to Grish, located west of Gu'Tanoth and south of Castle Wars.

Requirements	Skill requirements are not boostable unless marked with a [B] for boostable. Quests: Zogre Flesh Eaters Big Chompy Bird Hunting Jungle Potion 4 Smithing 8 Herblore 20 Strength 30 Ranged 30 Fletching Recommended: 40 Prayer for Protect from Ranged, preferably level 43 for Protect from Melee 20 Crafting for a better chance on making the correct portrait, the higher your crafting the better your chances.
Items required	Items from the tool belt are not listed unless they do not work or are not automatically added. None
Recommended	An ogre bow. If choosing to make one on your own, bring: Achey tree logs Wolf bones Bowstring Activated Yanille lodestone, Ring of duelling with at least 4 charges, dramen/lunar staff for Fairy Ring access. 1-2 prayer potions and/or Falador shield (may eliminate the need for prayer potions if your prayer is high enough) Food and combat gear If killing Slash Bash with ranged, Ogre Composite Bow and at least 50 Mithril brutal arrows (or better)
Enemies to defeat	Zombie (level 36) Slash Bash (level 58)

Starting out

• Talk to Grish in Jiggig, located a short run south of the Castle Wars.
  • "What do you mean sickies?"
  • "Can I help in any way?"
• Talk to the Ogre Guard (without the combat level, East).
• Climb over the barricade.
• Run east and down the stairs.
• Run as far as you can north-west and search the skeleton, kill the zombie and take his backpack.
• Open the backpack, search the broken lectern behind the skeleton.
• Read the torn page.
• Search the nearby Ogre coffin until you find a Black prism (may take multiple attempts).

Yanille

• Enter the Dragon Inn pub in Yanille.
• Use the Template:Noseo tankard on the bartender.
• Talk to Zavistic Rarve on the 1st floor of the Wizard's guild. Ring the bell outside if you lack the requirements.
• Enter the house just north of the guild, 1^st2^nd floor^[UK], talk to Sithik in bed.
• Search the drawers, the cupboard, and the wardrobe.
• Read the 3 books, use the papyrus on Sithik to make a portrait, then use the portrait on Sithik.
• Make sure that Sithik says that he appreciates "honesty" of the portrait or you will have to make another. If he says 'truth' you will have to try again. There is more papyrus in the drawers.
• Use the portrait on the bartender.
• Show your items to Zavistic in the magic guild.
• Use the Strange Potion on Sithik, then use it in his tea, amazingly he doesn't suspect a thing.
• Climb down the ladder, climb up the ladder, ask Sithik all the possible questions.

Final Battle

• Return to Grish at the quest start, he will give you a key.
• Ask him if there is an easier way to kill Zogres.
• Cross the barrier to the east and go down the stairs again
• Once inside, run directly west, through the double doors and down more stairs.
• Go North East and search the stand infront of the pile of skulls. Prepare for battle.
• Kill Slash, pick up the Ogre artefact he drops.
• Return to Grish at quest start.
• Quest complete!
